He was predeceased by: his parents, I. M. Kirby, Jr. and Jessie Faye Gauldin Johnson (Kirby); and his siblings, Peggy Bullock and Bert Wayne Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Blackmon Kirby; his son Russell Kirby (Natalie); his grandson Ashton; his daughter Renee Dykes (Carl); his granddaughter Gina Strait; and his brothers, Thomas (Debby) and Monroe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-and sisters-in-law; and a host of extended family: community neighbors and Brothers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Highland Colony Baptist Church (1200 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS 39157). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
