It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elizabeth Bush Gatlin (Ridgeland, Mississippi), who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Alice Garner Bush and Charles Crawley Bush, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Clayton Gatlin, Jr.; her siblings, Becky Bush Greer (Steve) of Madison, Dr. Charles C. Bush, Jr. (Karen) of Ridgeland and Dr. William G. Bush (Amy) of Jackson; her brother-in-law David Thomas Gatlin (Brenda); her children, Ernest Clayton Gatlin III (Ashley) of Tuscaloosa, AL, William Bradley Gatlin (Kelley) of Madison and Katherine Elizabeth Gatlin Shelton (Rustin) of Madison; and her grandchildren, Allie Caroline Gatlin, John Barron Gatlin, Mary Crisler Gatlin, Frances Grace Gatlin, Christian Brayden Shelton, Robert Clayton Shelton and Matthew Garrett Shelton. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and her many other family members and friends.
