He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cassady Powell; his daughter Kelly Qualls (Derek); his grandchildren, Jackson and Cassady; his daughter Keri Bryant (Christian); his grandchildren, Ethan and Gray; and his brothers, Edwin "Red", Danny and Randy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
