He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Junior" Phillips and Dorthy Lou "Dot" Phillips; his brother Ron Phillips; and his grandson McCain Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Mary Phillips of Richton; his children, Mark Phillips (Ashley) of Richton, Tammy McBeth (Joel) of Mt. Olive, MS and Laurie Phillips of Richton; his sister Kay Meadows of Richton; his grandchildren, Anthony (Shasta), Brian, Jonah, Ashley (B. J.), Keslyn (Tres), Carrington (Trevor), Harli, Keni, Graycen, Allie Anna and Mailee; and his great grandchildren, Layken, Rayleigh Kate, Elijah, Jaxon, Hannibal and Maddox.
