Mayes of Richton; her stepmother Carole Best; her children, Melisa Murphy (Brian) of Chattanooga, TN, Christie Grigsby (Shaun) of Lake Ridge, VA, Kelley Smith Fernandez of Richton, Melanie Mayes (Ronnie) of Chesapeake, VA and Sandra Ware of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, Kerstin Smith, Kallie Smith, Rian Murphy, Charleigh Fernandez, Riley Grigsby, Erin Murphy, Abigayle Allen and Joey Allen; her great grandchild Kohlston Dykes; and her brothers, Jimmie Best of Nebraska, Jeff Best of Kentucky and Scott Best of Florida.
