She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Ray Edwards; her daughter Celia Ann James; her parents, Loarn Freeman and Georgia Faye Freeman; and her sister Charlotte Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Shelia Rae McMurry, Jr. (Joe) of Richton and Darrick Edwards of Richton; and her siblings, Bonnie Latham of Richton, Hortense McLain of Richton and Norbert Freeman of Richton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Edwards Cemetery (97 Ace Carlisle Rd, Richton, MS 39476).
