He was predeceased by: his parents, Illous Whisenhunt and Irene Whisenhunt; his grandson Dee McDonald; his great grandchildren, William Leon Earwood and Brayden Earwood; and his siblings, Jane Norman, Bess Fowler, Bud Whisenhunt and Thomas Whisenhunt.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Whisenhunt of Richton; his children, Becky Miller (David) of Richton, Terry McDonald (David) of Richton, Shelia Valentine of Richton, Joanne Whisenhunt Crocker of Laurel, Butch Earwood (Vicky) of Richton, Birt Whisenhunt (Shelly) of Leakesville, Billy Don Whisenhunt (Ann) of Richton, Darrell Whisenhunt (Tracey) of Richton, David Allen Whisenhunt (Jeannie) of Clara and Joseph Whisenhunt (Jennifer) of Neely; and his grandson Shane Whisenhunt of Leakesville. He is also survived by 56 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
