She was predeceased by: her husband William Emmitt Gainey; her parents, Joe B. Myrick and Ethelyn Myrick; and her brothers, Clayton and James Austin "Jimmy" Myrick.
She is survived by: her son Austin Gainey of Richton; her grandchildren, Charles Blake Gainey of Richton, Erik William Gainey of Richton and Toby Singley of Richton; and her brothers, Tommy Myrick of Hattiesburg and Joe B. Myrick, Jr. of Jackson.
