She was predeceased by: her daughter Wendy Denise Abbott Dearman; her parents, Julius Scott and Anna Lois Carey Valentine; and her brother Gerald Valentine. She is survived by: her granddaughter Allyson Grinnell (Colman) of Petal; and her sisters, Judy Valentine and Mary Beth Smith (Bob).
