He is survived by: his wife Mavis Hobson of Richton; and his children, Melvin Hobson (Belinda) of Richton and Becky Wright (Charles) of Oak Grove. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
