He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Clifton and Nona Clifton; and his siblings, Barbara Edwards, Cheslene Rylee and Bimbo Clifton.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. Clifton of Richton; his children, Tammy Clifton Adams (Jimmy) of Richton, Kelly Rene'Clifton of Las Vegas, NV and Lester Wayne Clifton, Jr. (Robin) of Cleveland, TN; his grandchildren, Casey Elizabeth Melton (David), Ashley Marie Caldwell (Jonathan), Madison Marshall and Christopher Clifton; his great grandchildren, Keira Elizabeth Lynn Melton, Bentley Dean Boyd and Leo Reed Melton; his siblings, Kenny "Tangleye" Clifton (Joyce) of Richton, Sandy Clifton (Wanda) of Richton, Sarah Dement of Richton and Theda Lambert (Larry) of Richton; and his niece Eileen Walley.
