She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Edwards and Lois Hinton Edwards; her husband Elbert Cooley; her sons, Darrell Cooley and Royce Cooley; and her sister Helen Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, Mick Cooley (Angie) of Richton and Kevin Cooley of Richton; her brother-in-law Jerry Carter of Richton; her grandchildren, Kayla McLendon (Robert), Curtis Cooley and Kasey Cooley; and her great grandchildren, Isabella Penton, Bethany McLendon and Bexley McLendon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home-Richton (104 Cypress St, Richton, MS 39476). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
