He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Gardner and Florence Gardner; and his brothers, Prentiss Gardner and Allen Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Gardner of Richton; his children, Katie Gardner Pittman (Tyler) of Richton, Lee Henry (Shelly) of Richton, Neal Gardner (Ame) of West Blocton, AL and Shane Gardner of West Blocton, AL; his sister Dorothy "Dot" Gandy of Runnelstown; and his sister-in-law Mabeline Gardner of Tuscaloosa, AL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
