He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy Newell; his parents, David Newell and Arcena Newell; and his sister Ella Grace Balius. He is survived by: his sons, John Allen Newell of Richton, Tim Wise of Richton and Don Wise (Ann) of Mandeville, LA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
