It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Carter of Richton, Mississippi, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen E. Carter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Curtis Edwards and Lois Edwards. She is survived by : her husband Jerry Carter of Runnelstown; her children, Kelly Carter (Rochelle) of Runnelstown and Sandra Little (Mike) of Runnelstown; her sister Joyce Cooley of Richton; and her grandchildren, Laiken Gilliland (Jared) of Petal, Lindsay Bond of Runnelstown, Amber Howell (Wade) of Mize, Andrea McLemore (Rickey) of Runnelstown and Aaron Carter (Shelby) of Runnelstown. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Runnelstown (9211 MS-42, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at the Carter Family Cemetery.
