She was predeceased by: her former husband Marlyn Dykes; her husband Dewitt McDonald; and her parents, R. C. Phillips and Myrtle Phillips. She is survived by: her sons, Marlyn Hugh Dykes (Janet) of Ocean Springs and David Dykes (Karen) of Long Beach; her grandchildren, Eli Dykes, Amy Wade (Kevin) and Adam Dykes (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Anastasia Wade, Kaiden Wade, Kirstin Dykes and Levi Dykes; and her sisters, Oree Henderson (Charles) of Waynesboro, Robbie Mills of Waynesboro, Garcia Hutto (TT) of Waynesboro, Shirley Dykes of Richton and Ardena Ellzey (Curt) of Biloxi. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
