He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis McCray and Lorena McCray of Prentiss, MS.; and his siblings, Betty Jean McCray, Emma Lou McInnis, Eunice Louise Wilson, James Bennie McCray Sr., Wilmer Ray McCray and Jerry Wayne McCray.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thompson McCray; his brothers, Hollis McCray Jr. and Larry McCray; his children, Rhonda, Rodney, Ryan, Jackie, Thom and Will; his grandchildren, Darla, Ryan Jr., Brandy, Brandon, Chelsea, Macey, Tabitha, Teddy Bear, Rachel, Eric, Nicholas, Joshua, Madison, Savannah, Brooklyn and Gracie; and his great grandchildren, Malachi, Lilliana, Ezra, Jena, Hunter, Mason, Gulliver and Lawson.
