She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Ray Carey Sr.; and her parents, Virgil McBride and Fannye McBride. She is survived by: her children, Billy Carey Jr. (Susan) of Hattiesburg, Carolyn Rawles (Kenneth) of Mobile, AL and Kaye Mercer (Cary) of Arcadia, FL.; her grandchildren, Billy Ray "Chip" Carey III (Kim), Kathryn Lee-Frances Lowery (Chip), Chase McBride Carey (Leslie), Carmen Ford Davis, Curtis Hamilton Ford, Ashley Mercer Grimaldi, Nicole Mercer, Shelby Winchester (Amanda), Riley Winchester (Lisa) and Evan Rawles; her great grandchildren, Sam Carey, Tyler Lowery, Max Lowery, Evan Maurus, Ford Davis, Banks Davis, Will Winchester, James Winchester, Harrison Winchester, Chapman Winchester and Joshua Rawles; and her close friend Josephine Lymon.
