He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lafatte Goar and Lela Lucille Broom Goar of Improve, MS; and his sisters, Hazel Goar Hutson (Alton), Anna Laura Goar Miller (Talmadge) and Vivian Goar Ramshur (Murphy).
He is survived by: his daughters, Kaylee Goar Wade (Jason) of Petal and Karrah Lucille Goar of Richton; his grandchildren, Loren, Taylor and Lyndsey Wade; his siblings, Mavis Goar Smith, Kenneth Goar (Marty) and Martin Goar; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Falgout (Vernell) and Dr. Sandra Burford (Bill). He is also survived by 38 nieces and nephews, 69 great nieces and nephews, 43 great-great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
