He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Allen (Ronnie) of Chesapeake, VA, Melisa Murphy (Brian) of Chattanooga, TN, Christie Grigsby (Shaun) of Woodbridge, VA and Kelley Lynn Sanderson of Richton, MS; his daughter-in-law Sandra Ware Mayes of Hattiesburg, MS; his grandchildren, Abigale, Kerstin, Rian, Kallie, Joseph William, Riley, Charleigh and Erin; his great grandchildren, Kohlston and Koenn; and his siblings, Susie Pepper (Gerald), Paul Mayes (Anita) and William Thomas Mayes (Donna).
