He was predeceased by: his daughter Celia Ann James; his parents, Willis Edwards and Gracie Edwards; and his sister Mary Helen Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Edwards of Richton; and his children, Shelia Rae McMurry, Jr. (Joe) of Richton and Darrick Edwards of Richton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
