It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Mayo of Richton, Mississippi, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gavin Mayo; her parents, Julius Clark and Lena Mae Clark; her children, Wesley "Bo" Mayo, Shirley Freeman and Helen Walley; and her sons-in-law, Tony Freeman and C. J. Walley.
She is survived by: her children, Gavin Mayo (Donna) of Bogalusa, LA, Lena Faye Freeman of Richton and Lisa Williams (Trent) of Richton; and her siblings, Carl McCardle of Biloxi and Patsy Pierce of Runnelstown. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and eleven great great granchildren.
