He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Crawford, Sr., Pauline Byrd and Macrine Freeman; his aunt Marilyn Smith; and his uncle Larry Freeman.
He is survived by: his parents, Crawford Byrd (Tammy) and Helen Nicholson (Ken); his children, Weston Bennett Byrd and Laurel Elizabeth Byrd; his siblings, Joshua Byrd (Alison), Leanna Holley (Eric), Justin Huguet (Haley), Blake Nicholson (Shelby) and Brent Nicholson; his grandfather Marlin Freeman; and his aunts, Regena Bailey (Bo), Jeanette Freeman, Norma Edwards (James) and Renee Brewer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones and Son Funeral Home (104 Cypress St, Richton, MS 39476). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home-Richton (104 Cypress St, Richton, MS 39476).
