It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Wassum (Rich, Mississippi), who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bus Wassum and India Wassum; his siblings, Bill, Chink Wassum and Saundra Wassum; and his sister-in-law Janet Pratt.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Pratt Wassum; his children, Rick Wassum, Mike and Tippi Matherley (Buddy); his brother Ed Wassum (Becky); his grandchildren, Charlie Wassum (Angie), Jamie, Joey Matherley and Abby Wassum; his great grandchild Cole Wassum; and his siblings-in-law, Stuart Pratt (Dreama), Marion Griffin, Jane Clark and Linda DiYorio (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
