She is survived by: her significant other Eddie Norfleet of Red Banks, MS; her children, Dewanna Odum (Fredrick Akins, Sr.) of Byhalia, MS, Lashonda Odum of Byhalia, MS and Makayla Odum of Byhalia, MS; her grandchildren, Brodgerick Odum of Byhalia, MS, Alexandria Akins of Byhalia, MS, Fredrick Akins, Jr. of Byhalia, MS, Alayja Thompson of Byhalia, MS and Ivyanna Akins of Byhalia, MS; her siblings, Charles Odum (Merry) of Byhalia, MS, George Martin (Mary) of Byhalia, MS, Clara Hardaway (Johnny) of Byhalia, MS, Mary Gatewood of Byhalia, MS, Elnora Coleman of Nesbit, MS and Bonnie Martin of Memphis, TN; her brothers-in-law, Alfonzo Isom of Byhalia, MS and Joseph Morrison of Byhalia, MS; and her cousin Laura Mae Hearn of Byhalia, MS.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home (140 N Memphis St, Holly Springs, MS 38635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Taska M. B. Church (519 S Mt Zion Rd, Byhalia, MS 38611).
