He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Cole and John Cole; and his sister Suzanne Cole. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Cole of Red Banks, MS; his daughters, Terrice Enochs (Tom) and Cynthia Cole of Red Banks; his stepdaughter Beryl Castania of Killeen, TX; and his grandson Jacob Crafton (Natalee) of Collierville, TN. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
