He was predeceased by: his mother Carnell Bridgman Hanks; his stepfather Haskell Hanks; his father Robbie Ladale Fooshee; his stepmother Sammie Gooch Fooshee; his aunt Gracie Killough (Lamoine); his uncle Flake Fooshee (Catherine); and his daughter Angela Kaye Nanney.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Steward Fooshee; his son Jimmy Fooshee, Jr. (J. J.); and his grandchildren, Hunter Owen Fooshee and Samantha Haven Nanney.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital which has provided vital care to the family for years. Donations may be made online or mailed to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
