She was predeceased by: her husband C. A. Ashley; her parents, Willie Atwood and Gertrude Atwood; her siblings, James Atwood, Rhue Atwood, George LeBlanc, Joe Atwood and Willie Ruth Ashley Morrison; and her nephew Scot Dailey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Julia Williams (Gary) and Elmira Morrison; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Atwood and Geraldine Atwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
