He is survived by: his wife Michelle Smith Purvis of Collins, MS; his children, Jason Purvis, Jr. of Raleigh, MS, Aaron Purvis (Katelin) of Raleigh, MS and Bethany Purvis of Raleigh, MS; his stepson Cody Caves of Bogue Chitto, MS; his grandchildren, Leah Neal of Brookhaven, MS and Addison Caves of Brookhaven, MS; his parents, Jim Purvis (Janet) of Magee, MS and Angelia Daley of Bassfield, MS; and his brothers, Josh Purvis of Bassfield, MS, Jeremy Purvis (Anna) of Sumrall, MS, Joe Purvis (Kari) of Magee, MS and Richard Bowen of Biloxi. He is also survived by numerous step-siblings; and a host of other family members and friends.
