He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Thompson and Gladys Hester Thompson; and his siblings, Bud Thompson, Inez Canova and Pam Gandy.
He is survived by: his wife Undean Arender Thompson; his children, Mark Thompson (Sheryl) and Angela Thompson Phillips (Brian); his grandchildren, Bo Thompson (Heather), Ryan Thompson, Joshua Thompson, David Thompson, Kassidi Phillips and Brooke Bowen (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Jet Thompson, Ava Rose Thompson, Malcolm Thompson, Ada Bowen and Liza Bowen; and his siblings, Randy Thompson, Glenda Gilreath, Gale Walin and Becky Sanford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh Tuesday (218 Sylvarena Ave, Raleigh, MS 39153). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Double Church (147 Scr 115 N, Raleigh, MS 39153). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Double Church Cemetery (147 Scr 115 N, Raleigh, MS 39153).
