He is survived by: his wife Donna Hancock; his children, Lena Scarbrough, Eric Hancock of Mississippi and Kimberly Hancock of California; his grandchildren, Justin Hancock, Leasa Stevison and Shauna Glenese (River Scarbrough); and his siblings, John Hancock, Jo Ann Lee, Alice Stokley, Amy Herring, Jimmy Hancock, Patricia McKinney and Nancy Bynum. He is also survived by cousins and other relatives.
