It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frankie A. Thornton of Raleigh, Mississippi, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Winton Dale Thornton; and her sisters, Goldie Davis and Jackie Putnam. She is survived by: her children, Chris Thornton (Delana) and Sarah Rene Thornton Sumerall (Scott) of Raleigh; her mother Lennie Sue Thornton of Meridian; her siblings, Walter Mac Thornton of Raleigh, Tammy McKay (Kevin) of Meridian and Emily Gonzalez (Jose) of Jackson; and her grandchildren, Justin Thornton, Blake Sumerall, McKenna Thornton and Shelby Sumerall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
