She is survived by: her husband Alton Handy; her children, Arthur Lewis (Melanie) and Sheila Gore; and her grandchildren, Elijah Anderson, Tommy Lewis, Taylor Ann Lewis, Marissa Boykin and Miranda Boykin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
