He was predeceased by: his parents, Olyer William and Mary Lou Stringer; his brother Stanley Mitchell Stringer; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Gaskin, Jerry Hollingsworth, Jerry Tadlock and Harry Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Noel Stringer (Melanie) and Christine Develin Perks (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Grace, Will Stringer, Jett and Levi Perks; and his siblings, Gail Stringer (Anita), Lou Ann Gaskin, Martha Smith (Gill), Debbie Hollingsworth, Cathy McIntyre (Ted) and Sarah Fayard (Stephen).
