She was predeceased by: her husbands, John E. Gandy and Kent Bryant; her parents, William J. Bankston and Emma Bankston; and her brother William D. "Jack" Bankston (Sue).
She is survived by: her children, Billy E. Gandy (Reta), George "Mike" Gandy (Pam), Frances McGrew (Andy) and Emily Culliver (Neil); her grandchildren, John E. Gandy (Angela), Stephanie Gandy, Alicia Bounds (Donnie), Jeremy Gandy, Patrick McGrew (Hailey), Courtney Durio (Albert), Emma Culliver (Dylan Dunaway) and Matthew Culliver; her great grandchildren, Paula Powell (D. J.), Abby Sanderford (Justin), Remy McGrew, Rhys McGrew, Ruby McGrew, Ainsley Durio, Willow Durio and Ivy Durio; her great great grandchildren, Delaney Powell, Carter Sanderford and Bailey Sanderford; and her sister Bonnie Jean Sorsby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
