He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Scott Pearson; his parents, William Byron Pearson, Sr. and Jamie Doris Riley Pearson; and his sisters, Faye Turner and Alenda Fleming.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Pearson (Terry) of Quitman, MS and Melinda "Lindy" Flynt (Ronald) of Hickory, NC; his grandchildren, Ryan Flynt, Taylor Tew, Jamie Pearson, Anna Pearson and Keely Flynt; his great grandchildren, Addie Grace Pearson, Eli Flynt, Baylor Flynt, Jax Tew, Will Pearson, Wylder Barron and Walker Barron; and his siblings, Pete Pearson of Pearl, MS and Dianne Taylor of Stonewall, MS..
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (11367 Co Rd 511, Quitman, MS 39355). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
