He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive Gerich (May) and Francis Alber Gerich; and his sisters, Evelyn Goodman and Donna Gerich. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia B. Gerich; his stepdaughters, Vickie Hester (Tommy), Joyce Barry (Brian) and Terry Pearson (Jim); his grandchildren, Casey Akin, Mindy Lynn (Aaron), Nathan Barry, Taylor Tew (Chelsey), Jamie Pearson (Jessica), Anna Barron (Chris) and Alexis Markham; his great grandchildren, Jaeger Cumberland, Huntley Cumberland, Callie Barry, Parker Barry, Charlie Barry, Addie Grace Pearson, Jax Tew, Will Barron, Wylder Barron, Isaiah Madison, Elijah Akin and Dawson Markham; and his niece Michelle Marano. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
The family request no flowers and all memorials be made to National Hospice Foundation in honor of William "Bill" Gerich.
