He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Weir and Geraldine Weir; and his brother Terry Weir. He is survived by: his wife Shalayne Weir; his sisters, Paula Williamson and Debbie Robinson (Charles); his children, Jared (Kayla) and Katie (Clay); and his grandchildren, Jake, Jasper, James, Cooper and Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to the benevolence fund at Union Baptist Church.
