It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Sidney Owen of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Owen and Florence Britton; and his siblings, Lena Staubt and Raz Britton, III. He is survived by: his wife Ernestine K. Owen; his sons, Billy Owen (Sherry) and Richie Owen (Julie); and his siblings, Jolly Owen and Eva Owen. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
