He was predeceased by : his parents, Alberta Busby (Southern) and William H Busby. He is survived by : his wife Diane Busby; and his children, Jody Busby (Angel), Kyle Busby, Matthew Mason, Marcie Nazel (Steven), Melissa Taylor (John) and Malynda Mason. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northrup Chapel Baptist Church (2602 MS-145, Quitman, MS 39355). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
