He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle Schrimpshire (Ivy) and Edward "Dock" Schrimpshire; and his siblings, John Franklin "Toby" Schrimpshire, Richard Schrimpshire, Paul Schrimpshire, Linda Burnett and Brenda Ford.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sara Beckman (Timothy) and Angie Nichols; his niece Brooke Nichols; and his nephew Wendell Carney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
