It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Edward Espey Sr. of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Espey and May Brown; and his grandson Zachary Espey. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Espey; his children, Jonathan Espey, Jr. (Joyce Richardson), Grover Espey (Allison Adams), Stephanie Espey and Sheryl Steppee (Tim); his stepfather B. L. Brown; his siblings, John Espey, Tommy Espey, Albert Espey and Jean Herrington; his grandchildren, Meagan Norris (Jamie Sr.), Kyle Espey, Matthew Warren, Abel Steppee and Aiyana Espey; his great grandchildren, Jamie Norris, Jr., John Norris, Jathan Norris, Joel Norris, Elijah Warren and Heidie Steppee; and his pet Diamond.
