He was predeceased by: his parents, Hank Harris, and Jonnell Harris, Jr.; and his brother Mike Harris. He is survived by: his wife Donnis Harris; his children, James Harris, II (Joy), Joshua Harris (Georgia), John-Mark Harris (Fiancé Laurel Byrd) and Joyce Marie Harris; his brother Robert "Bob" Harris; and his grandson Huck Harris.
