With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Lewis Jr. (Quitman, Mississippi), who passed away on April 24, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Lewis, Sr. and Floella Kennedy Lewis (Kennedy); and his siblings, Charles Lewis, Doris Sisson and Eloise Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Bunyard Lewis; his daughter Vikki Rogers (Stacy); his granddaughter Chelsea Rogers; and his siblings, Roy Lee Lewis, Louise "Sissy" Wise, Mary Katherine Boone and Alice Ruth Sox.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Union Baptist Church Building Fund.
