He was predeceased by: his parents, Sisson Smith and Laudia Mae Smith (Freeman); and his siblings, W. S. Smith and Nyoka Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Edith Smith; his children, Carl Smith (Carol) and Edie Harper; his grandchildren, Jaymie Smith (Meagen), Kaytelyn Harris (Daniel) and Hayleigh Gardner (Ricky); and his great grandchildren, Amelia Kate Smith, Ty Smith, Rowan Gardner, Walker Harris and Ramzee Harris. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.
