He is survived by: his wife Grace Pauline Hunter; his sons, Carl Gene Hunter (Sheila) and Gary Dayle Maxie; his grandson Jeffery Carl Hunter (April); his great grandchild Jeffery Cody Hunter; and his sister Zella Hunter Goldman.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (119 E Church St, Quitman, MS 39355). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel (119 E Church St, Quitman, MS 39355).
