It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Gardner Holland (Quitman, Mississippi), born in Columbia, Mississippi, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Gardner and Maxine Dees; and her sister Martha Lowery. She is survived by: her husband Benson Holland; her children, Stephanie Morris (Mitchell), Ben Holland (Lezlie) and Chris Hamm (Jon); her grandchildren, Blair Lee, Will Hamm, Cade Hamm and Caroline Hamm; her great grandchild Holland Lee; her brothers, Billy Gardner, Ray Dees and Mack Dees; and her aunts, Genevieve Gardner, Daisy Gardner and Bea Portero.
