With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Joe Barton (Quitman, Mississippi), who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Harlston Barton; his parents, James Melvin Barton and Lottie Shipp Oglesby; his siblings, James Oliver Barton, Jerry Barton and Gayle Barton; his stepbrothers, Ray Oglesby, Billy Oglesby, Eugene Oglesby and Guinn Oglesby; and also Raymond Oglesby.
He is survived by: his daughter Martha Barton May (Mark); his grandchildren, Emily May Lequerica (Frank), Philip Barton May (Lauren), May Catherine Lequerica, Harris Barton May and Camille Martha May; his sister Lois Oglesby Smith (Jimmy); and his niece Susan White Taylor (Walter).
