It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Hicks of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bobby farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bobby is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hicks and Nettie Hicks; his sister Doris Flowers; and his grandson Joshua Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hicks; his sons, Robert Hicks (Ashley) and Jason Hicks (Brittany); his grandchildren, Adyson Hicks, Maeley Hicks, Gracie Hicks and Kaden Hicks; and his sister Alice Andrews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (4173 Co Rd 672, Quitman, MS 39355). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
