He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Evans and Lallie Evans (Jones); his granddaughter Jina Ree Davis; his great grandchild Reed Mitchell Jr.; and his siblings, Hubert Evans, Walter Evans and Ruth Evans Massingale.
He is survived by: his wife Deby Evans; his children, Tim Evans (Donna) and Regina Davis (Tim); his grandchildren, Joshua Ray Evans, Samantha Kaye Holloman and Timothy Evans Davis; his great grandchild Kayelynn Mitchell; and his pet Jarvis Parker Evans. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
